Chief complaint today is shortness of breath. [00:06.000 - 00:13.000] On arrival he was tripodting, struggling quite hard to breathe. There was wheezes plus plus that we could hear from the door even before we saw him. [00:13.000 - 00:18.000] His hands were a little bit cyanotic as well. His sats were good though. They were like 94-95% on room air. [00:18.000 - 00:22.000] Just extreme shortness of breath. His respirations initially were about 36. [00:22.000 - 00:27.000] We've given him three rounds of salbutamol and atrovent. He's now at about 28 breaths per minute. [00:27.000 - 00:33.000] Still a little bit wheezy but very shallow. He's patting at 95% on 2 liters via nasal. [00:33.000 - 00:44.000] Heart rate 82, blood pressure 119 on 75, GCS 15. Temp 36.1. He does have COPD.
